Healthy Smiles Making a Difference – Our G9 Initiative

It is almost fall again. While that means mourning the loss of long summer days at the lake, summer festivals and your favorite pair of shorts, it also brings some pretty fabulous things. Football games, sweatshirts, autumn leaves, and apple cider to name a few.
This fall, Generations Dental is excited to announce that for the second year in a row we will be supporting the Gold is September (G9) initiative. You may have heard mention of G9 in our area schools or in those Aaron Rogers commercials that feature Annie. G9 aims to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer research.
Last year we decided to donate $10 for every child dental cleaning we completed in the month of September. The donation was made to I Back Jack. We joined the initiative late and only had 11 children come in for cleanings that month. We think we can do a lot better than that. This year we want to do much better.
Please join us in spreading the word that we want to donate as much as we can toward childhood cancer research. How can you help? If you have a child in our practice that is due for a cleaning, pick up the phone and schedule them for next month. If you haven’t visited our practice yet, we would love to meet you! Dr. Kelly spends two days a week at a Children’s Hospital dental clinic and loves working with kids. She would really like to get your kids off to a healthy start this school year while raising money for a great cause.
